Each and every Space Coast Chapter BetterInvesting member is encouraged to attend this online session from the comfort of your own home.

The ANNUAL MEETING will include a special educational presentation by Steve Johnson on
Finding Quality Companies - where to look and how to find them.

Following Steve's presentation, the Space Coast Chapter Board of Directors will convene the required 2010 Annual Meeting to vote for your Chapter Directors for Fiscal Year 2011 covering the period from 1 October 2010 to 30 September 2011. Each and every Space Coast Chapter member is encouraged to attend this session.

Syntel Inc. Online Stock to Study

Bob Adams, Associate Director of Puget Sound Chapter, will lead a study of Syntel Inc. Syntel, Inc. (NASDAQ:SYNT) is a provider of information technology and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) services to Global 2000 companies.
The Syntel, Inc. stock study will be presented in the first hour. The stock study will be followed by an optional session allowing time to answer more of your questions.
Bob Adams served as a Director on the BetterInvesting Computer Group Advisory Board from 1999 through 2006; has been a Director on the Board of the Puget Sound Chapter since 1994; and currently serves as a director of InvestEd Inc., a non-profit education corporation.
It is recommended that you complete your own study of SYNT prior to the Online Stock Study to get the most of the discussion. The Stock Study is interactive, and the entire group works together to complete the Stock Selection Guide. Join the stock study from anywhere you can get high-speed Internet access.

Introduction to the Stock Selection Guide Series

The series includes 4 online classes plus an interactive review session to help new investors learn how to use and complete the Stock Selection Guide, BetterInvesting’s premier stock analysis tool. Homework is assigned at each session to reinforce the concepts presented. Handouts materials are made available for students to download.
Recordings are made available for all sessions to allow students to review a missed class or to re-review for better understanding. Students have access to all the recordings until one week after the final review session (1/18/2011).

Each class session will follow this schedule:

Continue the examination of the Stock Selection Guide to determine the potential return of a stock.
3 - Estimating Future Growth
Monday, November 15, 2010 • 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST
This class provides guidance on how to make reasonable, conservative projections of future sales and earnings growth rates.
4 – Estimating Future P/Es
Monday, December 6, 2010 • 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST
This final class provides guidelines to help the student make reasonable projections for future high and low P/Es and determine if the stock is a buy, sell, or hold.
5 – Review/Q&A Wrap-up
Monday, January 10, 2011 • 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST
Join the instructors for an informal and interactive review session. You will have the opportunity to get your questions answered and discuss the judgments made on your first Stock Selection Guides.

The online group study is presented using Citrix GoToWebinar technology, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your home or in a group setting with friends and family.
